Jetta 1K2 - immo problem [solved]

EN
Have to admit - sometimes VW make really good puzzles for solving with their documents. This time the car that will talk about is Jetta model 2006. 1.6 FSI with average equipment.
The problem was that after visit to service the car suddenly lost central lock. Dealer conclusion was: you need new set of keys and front doors lock motors replaced. Well…

You can see what the error was, and with the key in the driver`s door barrel only lock and unlock same door. Trunk, fuel tank lid, rear doors.. fucked up. Obvious reason that this J393 unit is out of the game.
First misleading from VW - fuse F25 in cabin was mention as central lock power supply. Yeah.. right. Some other day. But for that one later on.
To be sure there isn`t any power issues before the owner start selling body parts for buying new units I have done this:

Remove under the stereo area one plastic cover(only clips) , then right panel to the passenger`s legs and side panel.
Glovebox down:

Be carefull with the light supply wires, and airbag switch wires. Remove A/C rubber hose to it and that is. You have access to the unit.

Unit itself to be taken down, you must unscrew both 10mm nuts, and pull all that plastic out of place. There is on right side as .. lip that you push and then slide to the left the J393 unit. After that only you`re able to get off the plugs.. Cool uh..?!

Power supply lines are Brown and Red-Black ones. They are in bigger size so no problem finding them.

And here is the strange stuff - in user manual there isn`t any information that in motor side fuse box F1 should have some fuse attached. In some diagrams I found for EU Jetta that power supply line must be from F24 in the cabin.

Well, here wasn`t exactly like that..

All that checked. If I put straight 12V to the Red-Black cable we have all system work as should be. ?! So, there must be some other issue. In that moment I checked on the second diagrams for Jetta Mexico:

And as you also can see the power source is F1 20A in the engine bay. The test was simple - multimeter on conduct test and one probe to that fuse holder, the other to the red-black wire pin and.. PIUUUUUUUU. Now we talking about. Fit one 20A spare fuse and all happy faces again. The reason that fuse was off was some research for other problem with cooling fans. So perhaps in the service they forget to put it back, and the owner didn`t actually pay attention that the car do not blink in lock/unlock state. Problem solved!

And for the protocol:

As you can see from the picture above in that same Mexican diagram, it claim to have 30A fuse, but that is only if there is sunroof or higher equipment in the car. Well done VW… @#@#@$$%$%

Afterwords: because the car set errors for the central lock and airbag I have to clear all with VCDS. And also the KEY must be “introduced” again to the car. That last one is easy. With spare key in the ignition, position full on, but car not started, the second one goes to the driver`s door and keep lock and unlock the car for few seconds. That`s it.

If you have problem like that check first fuses, then power supply and also CAN lines if you have all in order to the unit. After that buy new one… if you have to.
