CNC DG Mori door interlock contactor problem

In that small article will try to show you something that recently I witness and in case use the same machine to be aware of.
What I talk about? That really complicated door interlock. In the “old” machines that was simple contactor with two signals and one lock acutator. Nothing special.
Here, seems to be real overkill. Look at them pictures:
What was the story: from time to time the NC state that the door is not closed as in fact it was. After restart, it continue. Then it start ti give that error, and come to it`s senses after been OFF for let`s say half to one hour and after that just stop.
On top of that “box” you can see that three light guides that suppose to bring the LED diode brightness on top of it. Because of the oil that made the plastic really fragile, them light guides broke and some oil droplets went over the control board.
Either from that or just some trouble with smd component bring that unit to non functional state.
It was ordered new one (something like 600e / unit) and replaced. Thankfully it come with paper how to be teach in. Why? Because the locking bit contain inside some RFID chip which that unit read. That process if learning takes few seconds in the beginning. So what you do: put the locker inside. Power the machine. If you see the green [state] and the red [IO] diodes blink, turn off the machine for minute or two and start again. Then will be only green light on. Or the chip is memorized.
Is it possible to interchange with other lockers if one is already taught.. Can`t tell you.
But to be disaster prevented, open it and clean it if there is already anything and use clear/transparent silicone on top of that diodes!
